Susannah has been absolutely amazing in helping me work towards my degree. Susannah started working with my daughter at the start of year 11 after her grades in English dropped significantly from her predicted grades of 6s to grade 3 at the end of Year 10. She was lacking confidence in both English subjects and she didn't know how to get back on track. After receiving low mock results in English language 7 months prior to the real GCSE exam it was my son that suggested we should look into getting him a tutor. I contacted Susannah to help my youngest son with his GCSE English language and literature. Susannah has great knowledge of the subject and syllabus and is always very prepared for each session. Susannah explains the topic really clearly and checks regularly for understanding. My son had enhanced his vocabulary and has a far better grasp of what is required in his exams than before the tuition. He has gone from predicted grades 4 to achieving grades 6 with predictions of 6 to 7 after a term of tuition. Susannah has got both my girls through their GCSE English exam they both went from feeling they had no chance of passing to entering the exam with confidence and knowledge Susannah is so patient and kind nothing is too much trouble for her she accommodated my youngest daughter all through covid with online lessons and as soon as it was safe to she went back to face to face with her because we felt she got more from that kind of lesson I would highly recommend Susannah we started with her in year 9 and I would say that is a good starting point
