Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Susannah Mitchell ("I", "me") collects when you use susannahmitchell.com, why it's collected, and how it's kept safe.

What I collect

When you fill in the contact form I receive your name, email address, an optional phone number, and whatever you write in the message. If you use the booking page to schedule a call, I also receive your name, email address, and the date and time you've chosen. I don't run third-party advertising trackers or social-media pixels.

Why I collect it

Solely to reply to your enquiry and, if we go on to work together, to arrange lessons and discuss your child's progress. I will not sell, share, or pass your information to anyone else.

How it's stored

This website is hosted on Cloudflare. When you submit the contact form, the information is passed from a Cloudflare Worker to Resend, which delivers it as an email to my inbox. Neither provider stores your submission beyond what's needed to transmit it, and both are protected by industry-standard encryption. The email itself is then held in my inbox; I delete enquiries that don't lead to tuition after a reasonable period.

Spam protection

The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-friendly alternative to CAPTCHA. It verifies that you're a real person without showing puzzles or tracking you across the web, and does not set advertising cookies.

Booking a call

The booking page embeds a scheduling widget from Cal.com, running on its EU data-residency instance (cal.eu). When you pick a time, your name, email address, and any notes you add are sent to Cal.com, which holds the booking on my behalf, writes the appointment into my Microsoft 365 calendar, and generates a Zoom meeting link that is emailed to you automatically. Each of these providers is GDPR-compliant and uses your details only to deliver the booking. You can read Cal.com's privacy policy for the fine print.

Your rights

You can ask me at any time to see what information I hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, just email susannah@susannahmitchell.com. I'm registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) as a data controller.

Cookies

This site does not set tracking or advertising cookies. Cloudflare and Cloudflare Turnstile may set a small number of technical cookies required for security and bot protection, and the embedded Cal.com booking widget on the booking page sets its own technical cookies inside its iframe so the booking flow can function. None of these identify you personally or track you across other websites.
